D. Stephen Parsons, P.A. was established in 1982. With the addition of Kenneth S. Feaster, Jr. in December 2004, our firm is expanding to serve an ever growing Sussex County community, with high expectations for the future, while still staying small enough to personally assist our clients. The firm handles real property, business, estate planning, wills, and corporate law serving the entire Sussex County area.

Our real estate department is fully computerized, using the most up to date programs to provide prompt, efficient and accurate closings. With our network and on-line capabilities, we are able to receive emailed closing packages as well as the capability to email settlement statements and all other documentation. We have an experienced and knowledgeable staff to provide our clients with excellent and courteous service. We can schedule settlements immediately for a quick turnaround. As an added convenience, we can accommodate 1031 exchanges and also conduct Saturday closings.

Steve Parsons

Steve Parsons was born in Dagsboro, Delaware to Donald and Genevieve Parsons, themselves third generation Sussex Countians. Steve has lived here his entire life, except for his college years at Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia and when he attended law school at Widener University in Wilmington, Delaware. Steve's parents still reside in Dagsboro.

Steve started practicing law in Sussex County in April 1980 working as an associate with Herbert B. Warburton in Frankford, Delaware. On April 1, 1982 Steve opened an office in Frankford and in 1983 he opened an additional office in Ocean View. In 1994 Steve relocated the Frankford office to his home town of Dagsboro. Steve is very well known in Sussex County. He is an active supporter of many youth and sports activities. He believes strongly in supporting the local community and is a member of the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce.

Steve is an avid collector of antiques and is particularly fond of Coca Cola memorabilia. Many of these antiques and collectibles grace his offices in Dagsboro and Ocean View as well as his home in Dagsboro. Steve also loves old cars and owns a 1967 Camero Rally Sport convertible and a 1969SS 396 Chevelle.

Living near the beach his whole life, Steve is an adept Wave Rider and Boogie Board enthusiast and often enjoys both at his beach home. Steve and his wife Valerie have raised three sons; Joseph, Drew and Luke.

Kenneth S. Feaster, Jr

Kenneth S. Feaster, Jr. was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, which is in the western part of the state, outside of Pittsburgh. Ken is the youngest of three boys. At the age of 11 he moved with his family to Dover, Delaware. Ken received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware, with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He attended Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware and was awarded a Juris Doctor in May, 2002.

Ken served as Judicial Law Clerk to President Judge Ridgley, Superior Court of the State of Delaware from September 2002 until August of 2003. He was a Law Clerk for Bayard Marin, Attorney at Law, in Wilmington from March 2000 until March 2002. He also had an internship at the American Civil Liberties Union in Wilmington, Delaware.

Ken joined the firm of D. Stephen Parsons, P.A. in December 2004, and currently resides in Sussex County. He specializes in real estate transactions, wills and estates and incorporations. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching football, hockey and baseball. He also enjoys cooking for himself and his friends.
