The settlement process is the most important and often the most stressful portion of any real estate transaction. Our goal is to make the process go as smoothly as possible for all parties. After a buyer and seller sign a sales contract many tasks must be completed before they can officially close the deal. We facilitate the process of getting to the settlement table by working closely with real estate professionals, brokers, lenders, insurers and others to ensure the process goes smoothly. For refinance transactions we coordinate the settlement process between borrowers and lenders.
Since 1982, D. Stephen Parsons, P.A. has conducted thousands of real estate settlements in Sussex County, Delaware. We are title agents for Transnation Title Insurance, which was founded in 1910 and is one of the largest, national title insurance underwriters in the United States. We have an extensive library of "Master Files" for all sub-divisions in Sussex County and employ our own title searchers enabling us to schedule and complete our settlements quickly. Our real estate department is fully computerized using the most up to date programs to provide prompt, efficient and accurate closings. With our network and on-line capabilities we are able to receive emailed closing packages. We provide our clients excellent settlement services, and maintain a "pay at the table" policy. Our coordinators maintain good communication with our clients and encourage them to contact us with any questions.
